Our Approach to Women Empowerment
Financial Independence & Vocational Training
- We provide skill development programs that help women become self-reliant.
- Vocational training centers offer courses in tailoring, handicrafts, beauty services, and other self-employment opportunities.
- Many women have successfully started their own small businesses, gaining financial freedom.
Legal Support & Human Rights Awareness
- We provide legal assistance to women facing domestic violence, trafficking, or workplace harassment.
- Our women’s groups are trained to identify legal violations and support victims in filing cases.
- We actively educate women about their rights, including laws on sexual harassment, property rights, and domestic violence.
Community Leadership & Women’s Groups
- 10+ women’s groups in rural and urban slums of Varanasi actively tackle domestic abuse, forced marriage, and child labor.
- These groups have successfully rescued women from traffickers and reported cases to the police.
- Women are trained to become local leaders, advocating for policy changes and social justice.
Awareness Campaigns & Advocacy
- School & college programs educating young girls about their rights and self-defense.
- Workshops on gender equality, menstrual hygiene, and leadership training.
