Services
Women Empowerment Centre

Counseling
Skilled social workers are available 6 days a week offering compassionate, and knowledgeable face-to-face counselling. We work individually to alleviate suffering, empower each woman in their unique circumstance and also educate the women (and their families. communities etc) so they can create a better life.
Counseling is offered in our offices, and at other locations for those who cannot reach the office.

Helpline
We provide a 7 day a week helpline number available between 7am and 10pm. Staffed by experienced and qualified social workers, our service offers both pro-active crisis support and the opportunity for women to obtain up-to-date, personalised information to effectively alter their circumstances.

Legal Assistance
The legal system in India can be difficult to negotiate, especially for women who are uneducated, unfamiliar with the system, or who feel intimidated by the situation. We work with a team of lawyers knowledgeable in women’s rights and passionate about the center’s objectives who analyse cases and guide clients to take effective and appropriate legal decisions.
The progress of all cases in court is monitored, and case workers support clients in court to ensure that the process is legal and free of corruption.

Medical Aid
For us, the mental and physical health of a client is paramount to recovery. Without health, lasting change cannot be effected.
When a client has experienced physical trauma from violence or deprivation and neglect, healing from this becomes our highest priority. We can arrange treatment through supportive government hospitals, accompanying the client if needed, and/or seek the medical knowledge and skills of a group of doctors generously offering their services to the center.

Community Strengthening
Community Strengthening is at the heart of our mission, fostering a network of empowered women who support, uplift, and advocate for each other. By building women’s groups, self-help initiatives, and leadership programs, we create safe spaces where women can voice their concerns, access resources, and take collective action against social injustices. Through education, financial independence, and legal awareness, we strengthen communities from within, ensuring lasting change and a future where every woman thrives

Vocational Training
Financial independence gives women options. Skills training provides an avenue for this financial independence to become a reality.
We offer regular quality vocational training programs to create these opportunities for women to improve their financial independence. Our focus in these programs is practical application. Therefore these programs generally focus on small scale business like tailoring & embroidery, food processing & preservation, and handicrafts, which are useful everyday skills and accessible businesses for the women to initiate.
Education

Remedial Education Program
Our Remedial Education Program is designed to support children who face learning gaps due to socio-economic challenges or lack of access to quality education. Through personalized attention, interactive teaching methods, and skill-based learning, we help students strengthen their reading, writing, and mathematical abilities. By creating a supportive and encouraging environment, we ensure that every child regains confidence, stays in school, and builds a strong academic foundation for a brighter future.

Pre-school
Our Pre-School Program focuses on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. Through interactive learning, creative activities, and foundational skill development, we ensure that children receive the early education and social exposure needed for a strong start in life. By integrating basic literacy, numeracy, and cognitive development, we lay the groundwork for lifelong learning while promoting nutrition, health, and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive setting.
Child Right

Protection from sexual abuse
Protection from Sexual Abuse is a fundamental right of every child, and at SARC Women, we are committed to ensuring their safety and well-being. Through awareness programs, legal support, and counseling, we empower children and communities to recognize, prevent, and report abuse. We work closely with schools, parents, and law enforcement to create safe environments, advocate for stricter laws, and provide survivors with the support they need to heal and rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.

Child marriage
Ending Child Marriage is crucial to protecting the rights and future of young girls. At SARC Women, we work to prevent child marriages through awareness campaigns, legal intervention, and community engagement. By educating families about the harmful effects on health, education, and overall well-being, we empower communities to reject this practice. We collaborate with local authorities, schools, and women’s groups to rescue at-risk girls, provide them with support, and ensure they have access to education and opportunities for a better future.

Child labour
Eradicating Child Labour is essential to ensuring that every child has the right to a safe, healthy, and educated future. At SARC Women, we actively work to rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate children trapped in forced labor by providing education, vocational training, and legal assistance. Through awareness programs and community outreach, we educate families about the long-term harm of child labor and advocate for stronger enforcement of child protection laws. Every child deserves a childhood free from exploitation, and we are committed to making that a reality.

Cyber crime against chidren
With increasing digital access, cyber crimes against children—including online harassment, cyberbullying, exploitation, and identity theft—have become a serious threat. At SARC Women, we focus on educating children, parents, and educators about online safety, responsible internet use, and the dangers of digital exploitation. Through awareness workshops, legal support, and collaboration with cybercrime authorities, we empower children to recognize threats, report abuse, and stay safe online, ensuring a secure digital space for their growth and learning.
Legal Awareness

JJ Act
The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 is a crucial law that protects the rights of children in conflict with the law and those in need of care and protection. At SARC Women, we work to educate communities, legal authorities, and caregivers about the provisions of the JJ Act, ensuring that children receive rehabilitation instead of punishment and are safeguarded from exploitation. Through legal support, counseling, and advocacy, we help children access their rights under the law, promoting a justice system that prioritizes rehabilitation, education, and reintegration into society.

Posco
The POCSO Act, 2012 is a comprehensive law designed to protect children from sexual abuse, harassment, and exploitation while ensuring a child-friendly legal process. At SARC Women, we focus on awareness, prevention, and legal aid to help victims and their families navigate the legal system. Through workshops, school programs, and community outreach, we educate children, parents, and educators about their rights under POCSO, how to identify abuse, and the importance of reporting it. By working with law enforcement, legal experts, and counselors, we strive to create a safer environment where every child is protected and empowered to seek justice.
Climate Awareness

Carbon Footprint
Reducing our carbon footprint is essential to combat climate change and protect the environment. At SARC Women, we promote sustainable living practices by educating communities about energy conservation, waste reduction, and eco-friendly alternatives. Through awareness campaigns, tree plantation drives, and advocacy for reduced plastic use, we empower individuals to make environmentally responsible choices. By encouraging public transportation, renewable energy adoption, and sustainable consumption, we strive to create a cleaner, greener future for all. Every small action counts in preserving our planet!
